Look of the Month: December
Discover…December’s look of the month. This season is all about making a statement. As I was browsing through the latest issues of wedding magazines, I noticed a trend toward the use of big flowers placed strategically above the face and slightly off-center. I find this look to be quite sophisticated yet playful. The big flower that hides a small part of the face exudes an aura of mystery. A definitely fabulous alternative to veils. Indulge!
To launch the Christina Garcia Green Collection, we featured the “Sedge” flower comb made of pineapple fabric, a renewable resource. This was our print ad for the October 2008 Bridal Fashion Week in NY.
This look introduced Melissa Sweet’s new line of gowns: Reverie by Melissa Sweet.

Dress the Dress: Kasey
Discover… dressing the dress for Kasey. Kasey will be getting married in Santa Rosa, Florida in an intimate, beach destination wedding. She is looking for a special comb to wear in a half-up half-down hairstyle. Kasey has a beautiful gown with lots of texture. Our “Vernier” comb has a romantic design with texture to complement the bodice of Kasey’s gown. The hand carved mother of pearl accents will be perfect for her beach wedding. I would also like to suggest the “Stillwater” earrings to complete the look. The simple linear design with dangling freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals will go nicely with her hairstyle. The cost of these accessories is $456 (comb $300; earrings $156) which places Kasey well within her $500 accessory budget. We welcome all brides to submit pictures of their gowns along with their accessory budget to info@christinagarciabridal.com if they wish to participate in Dress the Dress. Indulge!
