Discover…Athens, Greece.  We recently received an email from Betsy who is getting married on a small island in Greece.  Betsy first fell in love with our collection at her brother’s wedding whose wife was wearing our fabulous jewelry.  She sent us this lovely thank you note which I’d like to share:

Look of the Month: November

Discover…November’s Look of the Month. Donna from the Sassy Chic (www.sassychicbtq.com) has this fabulous way of creating “looks” for brides. This month, we chose to feature another one of her real brides, Lindsay. The “side-comb” that she is wearing is all the rage these days. I love it that when a bride is standing at the altar saying her vows, there is more to look at than just the dress. A lovely comb placed strategically on the right side of your head will bring attention to where attention should be - your beautiful face!  Lindsay is the perfect example - she definitely knows how to use her accessories to accentuate her gorgeous face. Also take note of her “dream catcher” reversible necklace and drop earrings both made of mother of pearl, sterling silver lace filigree and Swarovski Crystallized Elements. Indulge!

Real Weddings

Discover…real weddings.  As I was paging through an issue of Brides Atlanta I discovered Ellie one of our beautiful Kelly’s Closet brides .  Her amazing wedding was featured and she wore our very own Musee d’ Orsay veil.  Typically this veil is ordered in chapel length but I love her elbow length version which perfectly compliments her Jenny Lee couture gown.  Thank you Ellie and congratulations.  Indulge!

Look of the Month: August

Discover…August’s look of the month. Another real bride graces Christina Garcia’s look of the month. Ultra-Chic Monique

Discover. . . Monique Lhuillier. One of our favorite retailers just happens to be one of my favorite gown designers. On a recent trip to visit family in Minnesota, I chanced upon an unplanned stop-over at Monique Lhuillier’s salon in Edina. The ladies at the salon were probably caught by surprise but were nonetheless very gracious to welcome me and show me around. The salon’s aesthetic is minimalist, soothing and quite pleasing to the senses. The ladies were eager, knowledgable and super nice (Minnesota-nice, that is). The gowns and dresses were absolutely stunning (this was actually the first time that I have seen them up close). The detailing on each of her creations is just impeccable. I personally consider it such an honor to have been selected as one of Monique Lhuillier’s accessory vendors.
